MAKE A DIFFERENCE - Be a Pollworker!

Santa Barbara County Elections is currently recruiting pollworkers for upcoming elections. Please join us for this rewarding experience! Participation in the Community Pollworker Program benefits the whole community, and fosters a sense of pride in community.
Requirements:
- Must be a registered voter in the State of California.
- Must be available to work on Election Day from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. or until all of the closing procedures have been completed.
- Must be willing to attend a training class.
There are three positions:
Vote Center Coordinator
- Responsible for the voting equipment and for the vote center.
- Paid $190 and are required to attend a 3 hour training class and pick up supplies.
Inspector
- Supervise a precinct board.
- Paid $190 and are required to attend a 3 hour training class and pick up supplies.
Clerk
- Work one of the stations at the precinct table.
- Paid $120 and an additional $10 for attending a 1 hour training class.
