MAKE A DIFFERENCE - Be a Pollworker!
Play an active and important role in your community and earn extra money in the process! 
Santa Barbara County Elections is currently recruiting pollworkers for upcoming elections. Please join us for this rewarding experience!  Participation in the Community Pollworker Program benefits the whole community, and fosters a sense of pride in community.

Requirements:

1. Must be a registered voter in the State of California.
2. Must be available to work on Election Day from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. or until all of the closing procedures have been completed.
3. Must be willing to attend a training class.

There are three positions:
Vote Center Coordinator

1. Responsible for the voting equipment and for the vote center.
2. Paid $190 and are required to attend a 3 hour training class and pick up supplies.

Inspector

1. Supervise a precinct board.
2. Paid $190 and are required to attend a 3 hour training class and pick up supplies.

Clerk

1. Work one of the stations at the precinct table.
2. Paid $120 and an additional $10 for attending a 1 hour training class.
